It sucks that it seems like its the only time half of us give a damn, and I'm one of them.
I know i've gained weight, but I don't know how much. Hope I'm not back up over 400, but we'll find out soon enough. I'm ready to lose more weight.

My new strategy is weight watchers. We're being kind of forced to go through work (but its free), and I'm more than willing to give it a shot.
The most important stuff to do:
1) Log Food
2) Blog
3) Exersize
The third one is the easiest, the first and second are just plain laziness. Write shit down, it shoudl be easy right?
Yeish. We'll see. Cedar point opens in 3 months. 14 weeks. Lets do it.
edit: a dumb aside. Our secretary made these AMAZING epic peanut butter truffles. I scarfed them down last friday.
I fought like hell not to eat one every time I passed it this morning, but I did it!
Its a small step.

I think the reason so many of us "give a damn" in the New Year is because we're sick of over-indulging "because it's Christmas/Thanksgiving"! There comes a point when (hopefully!) your body starts crying out for healthy food and the mind follows! ;o)
ReplyDeleteWhy are you being 'forced' to do WW through work? Are you in the military? (A friend of mine works for the Air National Guard in IT and he is reprimanded if his weight goes about 210 lbs...)
Health care costs in the US are astronomical right now. To keep costs down, several companies (I'm a programmer for the auto industry in detroit) offer 2 health care plans: a shittier, more expensive one, and a REALLY good, really cheap plan, which has health requirements.
